1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Sayak AI (“Sayak,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you may not use the service.
2. Eligibility
- Sayak is intended for users 13 years and older.
- Users under 13 may use the service only with the involvement and supervision of a parent, guardian, or school.
- By using Sayak, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
3. Description of Service
Sayak is an AI-powered study platform that enables users to upload study materials and transform them into flashcards, summaries, quizzes, and other educational content.
4. User Accounts
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Maintain account security
- Be responsible for all activity under your account
5. User Content & Responsibility
You retain ownership of any content you upload (“User Content”).
You represent and warrant that:
- You own the content, OR
- You have permission to use it
You agree NOT to upload:
- Copyrighted material without authorization
- Pirated books or paid content
- Content that violates intellectual property laws
You are solely responsible for your uploaded content.
6. License to Sayak
By uploading content, you grant Sayak a:
- Non-exclusive
- Worldwide
- Royalty-free license
to process, analyze, transform, and display your content solely to provide the service.
7. AI-Generated Content
Sayak uses artificial intelligence to generate outputs.
- Outputs are transformative and may not reproduce original content verbatim
- Outputs may contain inaccuracies
- You are responsible for reviewing and verifying outputs
8. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use Sayak for copyright infringement
- Upload illegal or harmful content
- Attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the service
9. Personal Use Only
Sayak is intended for personal, non-commercial educational use.
You may NOT:
- Resell generated content
- Distribute copyrighted materials
- Build public repositories of protected content
10. Content Sharing
- Content is private by default
- Any sharing must comply with applicable laws
- Sayak may remove content at its discretion
11. Copyright Policy
Sayak complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
We:
- Respond to valid takedown requests
- Remove infringing content
- Terminate repeat offenders
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in repeated infringement
13. Limitation of Liability
Sayak is not liable for:
- User-uploaded content
- AI-generated outputs
- Any damages arising from use of the service
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sayak from claims arising from:
- Your content
- Your misuse of the service
15. Subscriptions & Payments
- Paid plans may include usage limits (credits)
- Payments are non-refundable unless required by law
- Pricing may change with notice
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA.
